Oh those silly airlines!!!
So Wendy are you on your way to Nepal or was your flight cancelled?
After all the preparation, all the last minute running around, all the good byes you make that frantic rush to the airport and hey guess what, your flight has been cancelled with no alternatives for the day. That was Mountain Link climber Wendy Bookers surprise on Sunday; her flight was cancelled like so many other flights have been lately. So after an extra day of frantic rearrangements Wendy is now hopefully on her way to LA and her connecting flights to Thailand and on to Katmandu, with a little luck and no more cancelled flights Wendy should arrive in Katmandu 24 hours later then expected and will meet up with Mountain Link guides Brooke Barnes and Jeff "JJ" Justman. So let's keep those fingers crossed and hope the airlines can uphold their flight schedule. Thanks for checking in, stay tuned for the next update on this expedition. Below is a picture of Baruntse showing the climbing route for the Mountain.
