The Tie-In January 06

Mountain Link "The Tie In" January

The Mountain Link Difference:

Mountain Link differentiates itself from other mountain guide services as the premiere international guide service by employing only the best and most experienced guides in the industry.  The quality of our programs encompass the entire trip: everything from travel logistics to cuisine and hotel accommodations is taken care of on our end, so you can focus entirely on enjoying the climb.  Our reputation for leading safe and successful climbs speaks for itself, take the next step toward reaching the summit and call us today to speak with one of our guides.

Introducing New Senior Guide Cathy Caenepeel!

Cathy has been guiding for Mountain Link since 2003. Unarguably, Cathy is one of the strongest female guides in the United States. However, she is native Canadian evident from her French accent. She is fluent in Spanish, French and English!

Those who have climbed with her agree that she is a world class guide.  As one Mountain Link team member put it, "Cathy was one of the most patient guides I have seen. She's an incredible coach to have in the mountains."

Cathy has created through Mountain Link, two "Adventures for Women." One International adventure visiting Kilimanjaro in Africa with Safari. The second adventure is one of her favorites, a 7 day ascent of Mexico's Pico de Orizaba. If you'd like to join Cathy on these or any other adventures contact info@mountain-link.com for details.

2006 is off to a great start!  We just received a phone call from Mountain Link Guides, Tap and Heidi Richards, who summitted Mount Vinson in Antarctica.  Way to go!  We also heard from our expeditions on Aconcagua. Our first, second, and third teams have all reached the summit and our other 2 teams are beginning their expeditions next week.  Be sure to check our website to view daily updates from these expeditions, including photos and climbing descriptions of the route up "the stone sentinel."

We have many adventures planned for 2006.  From beginning climbing seminars to the 7 summits, Mountain-Link would like to invite you to join us on one of our adventures.  Check out one of our upcoming trips below, or better yet give one of our guides a call.  Robert Link and Mike Lindaas are in the office preparing for our spring expedition to Mt. Everest.  Drop them an email or shoot them a call and wish them luck as they venture back to the Himalaya once again…
