Mt Shasta Seminar
Located in Northern California, Mount Shasta is the second highest volcano in the United States. People from all over the world come to spend time on and near Shasta. It is considered by many to be one of the seven sacred or holy mountains in the world. There is a compelling force that draws people to this mountain for different reasons. The local Native Americans believe it is the physical representation of their creator. Others believe there is the golden city of Telos inside the mountain, home to the Lemurians, the super race. While others are drawn to the stories of UFO's using the mountain as a fueling station. The list of why people come to Mount Shasta is endless. For Mountain Link, we go to Mount Shasta to climb.
At 14,162 feet, Shasta holds 8 glaciers beaconing climbers to put on their crampons and grab their ice axes. Mountain Link's Shasta Mountaineering Seminar is a 5-day program designed to teach participants American mountaineering techniques. It is safe to say that upon completion, participants will be ready to take the next step safely and confidently in their mountaineering careers.
