Climbing Mount Everest

MOTHER GODDESS OF THE EARTH
Mount Everest: 29,035 feet

Walk in the footsteps of Sir Edmund Hilary as you attempt the summit of the highest peak in the world! The apex of mountaineering dreams, Mount Everest demands every climbers awe and respect. Each spring Mountain Link has an expedition up the South Col for experienced climbers with previous high altitude climbs.

Slow acclimatization
After we land in Kathhmandu, we take several days to reach Base Camp. We travel across the Tibetan Plateau, exploring villages and monasteries along the way including Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Monastery and Dingboche.

Fully supported
Mountain Link provides a fully supported expedition for the climbing team. We use yaks and porters from the Sherpa community to help carry our gear to Base Camp.

In addition, Mountain Link is honored to work with the best climbing Sherpas in the world. As our Sirdar, Lhawang Dhondup has climbed with and supported our expeditions for many years. He is arguably one of the best climbers in the region.

World Class Guides

Our guides are world class climbers. They have been on many expeditions and are among the best in the world. Safety is their first concern - as is your successful expedition. Our lead guide, Robert Link, has years of high altitude experience with summits on Cho Oyu, Everest, Denali and Kanchenjunga.

Modern equipment aids in success
We believe in giving our clients the best possible shot at the summit - while remaining safe. We utilize satellite phones and each team member is provided with a personal radio for the climb.

We provide oxygen at higher camps for sleeping (above 24,500 feet) and for the final summit day. We believe supplemental oxygen is not only more comfortable, but a safety concern for all team members.
