Cho Oyu Team heads for Tibet

The team has gone through the initial phase of the expedition. They have made it to Kathmandu Nepal with all of their personal gear intact. Their next logistical challenge will be traveling the road from Kathmandu to the village of Tingri Tibet. We have received reports that JJ is working dilligentlly on the communications network to keep our freiends and family well informed during the trip. As usual he is experiencing some little hiccups to get the system stream-lined in-country. The present challenges for the team are to adjust to a reverse time-line (change the body clock) and a different diet. The mind and body experience a lot of changes during this period. Both from stress of the upcoming challenge and the body dealing with a new diet(i.e. bacteria). JJ and Lhawang are experts in guiding team members through these potential setbacks. We are all looking forward to hearing form the expedition in the next few days.
